Founder

Robert Hyams

Bob founded Riverscape Ecology, formerly known as Habitat Restoration Solutions, in 2014 in response to the need for effective and efficient field services to fulfill a range of land owner/manager needs. Bob’s work with Vermont conservation extends beyond Riverscape. He is a long time board member of Vermont River Conservancy and Secretary of Vermont Riverlands LLC. He serves as Treasurer of Association of Vermont Conservation Commissions and an active member of the Hinesburg Conservation Commission.

Senior Field Technician

Alex Wuestneck

Alex graduated from the University of Vermont in 2018 with a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology and a Mathematics minor. While in college, he gained experience working for the Winooski Valley Parks District parks crew, working as an intern for the VT Agency of Natural Resources, and studying ecology in southern Chile. Alex was hired by Riverscape Ecology in the summer of 2018, and has since obtained certifications as a Wilderness First Responder and a Commercial Pesticide Applicator for forestry operations in VT. He is a musician, an avid snowboarder, and a professional ski patroller at Sugarbush.
